A Bit About Me
I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College in Boston, MA, and have been teaching Writing for almost 20 years. I teach primarily First-Year Writing and Creative Writing; however, I also have experience teaching American and World Literature II, Memoir, and Student Success courses.
My goal as an writing educator is to empower students to find their voices and meet students where they are, as well as make course material accessible and equitable.

Teach in the Writing Program at Curry College. Work as a part of the program to assess outcomes, design curriculum, and plan events. Teach a variety of courses including WRIT 1200/1400 and 1500: Reading, Writing, and Research I & II and Creative Writing I & II. Participate in committee work, professional development, and other program and college needs.
As a part-time distance faculty member, I taught online courses in 8, 10, 12, and 16-week formats. As a full-time faculty member, I taught fifteen credit hours each semester, held office hours, and taught a variety of seated and online 8-week and 16-week courses. Participated in committee work, course design and assessment, professional development, and other department and college needs. Taught at off site locations, including Camp Lejeune.
